Melia Maria Pita Hotel - A Coruna

It was luxurious stay, I truly enjoyed local food.

The quiet atmosphere created by the competent staff. The breakfasts were varied.

It is right beside a really nice beach and is only a 10 / 15 min walk to the centre.

I found the room noisy with the people on the floor above us.

Hotel in ideal location to visit La Coruna.

+Receptioniste not at all helpful,air tres snob. Localite outside of the beach very rundown and dirty. Not easy to acess better part of the town.

Excellent breakfast. Fabulous view. Feels like a proper hotel.

Not very close to any Bars or restaurants or food shops. Wifi could be better and without the need for codes etc. this is 2010 !

The check-in process could use a major overhaul!!! It took far too long, and the weak air conditioning is a real bummer in warm weather. Maintenance of public spaces, especially the lobby bathrooms, needs serious attention too!!!

I really enjoyed absolutely superb breakfast, hotel's convenient and ideal location.

The rooms were airy and well-maintained, had smoke detectors for safety. Location: the hotel was right by restaurants, Torre de Heracles, the soccer stadium and the port. Stopped by Cafe Bar Uni to get some coffee and treats, it's a few steps away from the venue, recommend.

A good hotel which provides all round comfort to relax and enjoy the surroundings.

Good-sized comfortable room and good bathroom. Nice view of bay and part of city. Good selection at breakfast buffet. Helpful staff.

Not enough staff on reception, so people had to wait . Very tight parking in underground car-park, which is also expensive. Charge for internet.

The rooms have no sound insulation, so we hear almost all the sounds that happen in the neighbour rooms, includind sneezing, smoring and so on The maids in the morning have no respect for everyone who is still sleeping, making a lot of noise when they are cleaning the rooms

The breakfast buffet was delightful, and the personalized birthday gesture made me feel special. However, the noisy environment disrupted my sleep throughout the night.

Noise early in the morning (0800-checkout) staff cleaning in other rooms, talking, not enough sound proofing. Air conditioner not functioning. Not available the remote to control temperature. Lack of furniture on balcony, it is available on request however a thirty minute wait is required. Would be more convenient if hotel would place furniture on balcony before guests arrive.

Good location, right on the beach front and very close to town. Good food in the restaurant.

Very thin walls so hotel is rather noisy and you can clearly hear what the person next door is doing.

This place suits me perfectly! I enjoy the 24-hour reception, bar area, and great wi-fi. The staff even helped me find my way the first time I stayed, which I appreciate. Highly recommend the breakfast!

Wonderful friendly welcome, the young male concierge was extremely hepful, showing us at least 4 other rooms as alternatives to what we had booked, the upgrade to a 5th floor room with balcony & ocean views was priceless.
